DIY and Home Improvement

Welcome to the Marxweb site where we cover all of the DIY projects and home improvements that we have carried out since we moved into our current house.

Having previously run a DIY store it has been enjoyable actually putting things into practice after offering advice on products over the years without ever having actually used them in anger!

Since moving in we have undertaken quite a few major projects - bathroom, kitchen, cloakroom, an extension and garden landscaping (twice!) so we have had quite a bit of practice.

We have tried to carry out as much work as possible ourselves but for some of the projects we had no option but to call in professionals as the work was too invloved for DIYers - no matter how keen.
